1. Infrastructure & Hosting

Tradie Tool is hosted on Microsoft Azure using enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure in UK data centres (UK South). Our environment benefits from continuous monitoring, network-level protection, DDoS mitigation, and regular infrastructure updates managed by Microsoft's world-class security teams.

2. Data Isolation

Each customer's data is kept logically isolated from all other customers. Your business data — including jobs, customers, invoices, supplier records, and staff information — is never accessible to other Tradie Tool users or accounts. Your data stays yours, full stop.

3. Data Encryption

• All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher)
• Sensitive credentials and API keys are never stored in plain text
• Access to internal systems is restricted, authenticated, and logged

4. Payments & Financial Data

All subscription payments are processed securely by Stripe, which is fully PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant. Tradie Tool never stores, transmits, or handles card numbers directly — all payment data is managed entirely within Stripe's secure, certified environment.

5. Access Control & Authentication

• Secure token-based authentication protects access to your account
• User roles and permissions let you control exactly what each team member can see and do
• We recommend strong, unique passwords and using Tradie Tool only on trusted, secure devices

6. Backups & Reliability

• Regular automated backups run continuously to protect against data loss
• Microsoft Azure provides high-availability infrastructure with industry-leading uptime SLAs
• Disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested to minimise any impact from unexpected incidents
